Within the framework of its strong growth, our subsidiary NEOGY, specialized in R&D design and industrial production of batteries and intelligent systems, which adapt to all technologies (Lithium-ion, Ni-MH, Sodium-ion, LiFeP04, Hydrogen, etc.) and designed for all types of stationary or embedded electrical applications, is looking for its future Methods Engineer.

 

Your role and missions:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will design manufacturing processes, study and contribute to the implementation of production management improvements. You will work closely with the design and production teams.

As such, your main activities are :

  • Design and organisation of production methods for goods or products
  • Drafting FMEAs
  • L’optimisation de la production
  • Defining and fine-tuning manufacturing processes,
  • Proposed investments in production facilities
  • Developing the use of new digital tools and instilling new working methods in its teams, by integrating new associated risks.
  • The use of integrated management software packages (ERP)
  • Set-up and maintenance of production equipment, including automated systems,
  • Management and optimization of material and product flows,
  • Implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices with production teams,
  • Contribute to the development of products by R&D for internal or external production.
  • Management of all types of subcontracting required for production,
  • Definition and drafting of standard production documents
Required profile

Your profile:

Trained as an Industrial Engineer, you have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in an industrial environment.

You are comfortable using CAD/CAM, CMMS and/or CAPM software. Your previous experience has enabled you to develop your ability to work in a highly standardized environment, with numerous QHSE considerations. (ideally you have experience in the electric battery sector).

Rigorous by nature, your organizational skills and responsiveness are essential assets for a successful start. Your interpersonal skills and team spirit enable you to adapt to different situations and different people.

Conditions

  • Permanent contract
  • Working hours: 39h/week
  • Start-up date: As soon as possible
  • Location: Mérignac, then eventually Pompignac, with occasional travel to Sallebœuf (temporary plant).
  • Remuneration: according to profile (€38-43K)
